Studio Evolución: Design and Avant-Garde in Frida Kahlo's House
Tuesday to Sunday
Through Sunday, November 1, 2026
10:00 AM
This exhibition reveals a lesser-known side of Frida Kahlo through the modernist furniture that filled her home after her 1934 separation from Diego Rivera. French designer Gastón Chaussat brought Bauhaus aesthetics to Mexico through his brand Studio Evolución, and Frida kept his pieces when she returned to the San Ángel studio in 1937. The show connects her personal life to the design revolution that reshaped Mexican interiors in the 1930s.
