Yagé

Yagé fuses coffee bar, restaurant, mezcal tasting room, and art gallery into one cavelike space in Condesa. The architecture stands out — dim candlelit interiors give the place a prehispanic vibe, especially once the live music kicks in at night.

Start with the Tacos Yagé or the Ensenada-style tacos, both frequently ordered. The mezcal selection goes deep, including hard-to-find ancestral bottles, and the cocktails lean on that collection — the Mezcalita Yagé is the house signature. Save room for the Eclipse dessert, described as an explosion of flavors. Pet friendly, with rotating art exhibitions on the walls you can actually buy.
