Terral Agrobar Monstruo de Agua

Terral Agrobar is the San Ángel outpost of Monstruo de Agua, the Mexico City craft brewery, pairing their full beer lineup with food sourced from local agriculture. The choripan and guacamole with chapulines (grasshoppers) are the standouts, and the kitchen also turns out tlayuditas and empanadas. You'll get marinated olives and pepitas on the house while you browse the tap list.

The space sits on the first floor of a small plaza on Avenida de la Paz — look for the stairs on the right once you enter. Fridays bring DJ sets, and Sundays run salsa classes from 6 to 8pm. It's low-key and easy on the wallet, with bartenders who know the beers cold.
