Teatro Rodolfo Usigli

This 190-seat theater in Coyoacán is named after Rodolfo Usigli, the playwright considered the founder of contemporary Mexican theater. The intimate space features decent audio and sound equipment, with a small second-floor section and a cafetería serving popcorn and snacks.

Seating is open and first-come, first-served for many shows — tickets purchased at the venue are assigned by arrival order, so plan to arrive 30 to 60 minutes early if you want to choose your spot. Parking is available on-site for a small fee, and the entrance routes through the lot before reaching the theater itself.
