Taquería El Greco has been serving Greek-Mexican fusion tacos in La Condesa for over 45 years, adapting the Puebla-style taco árabe with spiced trompo and traditional Greek flavors. The standout is the Doneraky en pan árabe — tender meat from the trompo served in thick, chewy Arabic bread with onions and house-made salsas. You'll also find the same meat in gringa form on pita with melted cheese, or in standard corn and flour tortillas, though the Arabic bread version is what locals come back for.
Space is tight with just a handful of tables, so expect to eat standing on the sidewalk during busy weekend hours — arrive early or plan for takeout. Cash and card accepted, no parking but street parking is usually available nearby. The red and green salsas have good heat, and the pico de gallo with habanero packs serious spice.
