Founded in 2001 by Grupo Freedom, Mambocafé Insurgentes is a tropical dance hall built for salsa, bachata, and Latin rhythms. Live bands play every night — Friday nights bring banda sinaloense — and the central dance floor fills up fast with dancers of every level, from beginners to experts.

The kitchen turns out boneless wings and fries alongside cocktails heavy on tropical flavors. Free dance classes run early in the evening before the live music starts. The venue opens Friday and Saturday from 10pm to close, though class and event schedules can shift the opening time.
