Centro Deportivo Chapultepec is a historic sports club on Calzada Escobedo known as much for its art collection and Golden Age cinema film sets as for its athletic facilities. The club houses an impressive range of activities — swimming pools with views, tennis courts (including the Rafael "Pelón" Osuna stadium, modernized for the Mexico City Open ATP Challenger tournament), basketball courts, football fields, a gym, and classes in everything from badminton to dance. The theater hosts occasional cultural events and race packet pickups.
Facilities are well-maintained, though the gym equipment leans toward the older side and gets crowded during peak hours. The club operates on a membership basis with trimester fees for most classes. Parking is available on-site, though street parking on nearby blocks can save time navigating traffic on the avenue.
