Casa Brigante - Pizzería La Condesa

Formerly Casa Brigante, this Condesa corner spot now goes by Pizzería La Condesa and turns out Neapolitan-style pies from a stone oven. The pizza is thin, soft, and light — that's the Neapolitan way — topped with combinations like the Contadina (pear, walnut, mozzarella, and gorgonzola). Pasta is also on the menu, including penne arrabbiata and house-made lasagna.

The space is small and low-key, with a couple of tables outside and a simple interior. Service is friendly, and the owner often walks guests through the menu. There's no parking on-site, but street parking is usually available, and a public lot sits about two blocks away.
