Capilla Gótica del Instituto Cultural Helénico

This 14th-century Gothic chapel was originally part of a monastery in Ávila, Spain, before being transported first to New York and then to Mexico City, where it was rebuilt stone by stone on Avenida Revolución. Acquired by collector Nicolás González Jáugueri and later donated to the Instituto Cultural Helénico in 1979, the chapel now hosts intimate concerts ranging from classical chamber music to contemporary repertoire, including the popular Candlelight series.

The space itself is small but acoustically excellent, and the atmosphere—especially during evening performances lit by hundreds of candles—feels transported from medieval Europe. The venue includes a cloister, garden café, and bookstore. Parking on-site is limited, but metered street parking is available nearby on Revolución.
