Beer Hall La Casa del Stand Up

Billed as Mexico City's first dedicated stand-up comedy club, Beer Hall has been running shows Tuesday through Saturday in a small, intimate Roma Norte space for over 20 years. The setup puts you close to the comedians — sometimes uncomfortably so if you sit near the stage — and the rotating lineup mixes established local acts with up-and-coming talent.

Food runs from pizza to burgers to steak, though the kitchen gets more attention than the plate: portions are generous but execution is inconsistent. Beers come by the mug, margaritas by the pitcher, and there are ongoing drink promotions that soften the moderately high tab. Cover charges now apply Thursday through Sunday.

Shows run from around 9pm to 2am. Reservations are handled by WhatsApp. Street parking is metered — pay through 1am if you're staying late.
